Following announcements by the Federal and Lagos State Government for schools to reopen, New Hall International School is preparing to resume the 2020/2021 Academic session soon.
However, resumption is based on PTF and Lagos State safety guidelines and policies on COVID-19. Presently our school is working with PTF on COVID-19, and Lagos State Government guidelines to ensure that all teachers are adequately informed and trained to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Our 2020/2021 academic session will be done both online and in school. This is to ensure that pupils maintain social distancing and other regulations in order to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
It will interest you to know that New Hall has an effective online school that run through the entire period of school closure. Our pupils had their lessons and examination as well as graduation ceremonies on our virtual school platforms.
Based on the success recorded in our online school, moving forward we will integrate digital learning into all sections more actively. This will be done while ensuring that the safety of all children in our physical school is guaranteed through this period of COVID-19 and beyond.
Similarly, our curriculum has been upgraded ,and teachers have been equipped during the lock down to further tailor the education of pupils in our school in line with recent global challenges and needs. Our aim is to provide world class education that will help every New Hall child, succeed and thrive in any parts of the world.
Yet internationalism and digitization does mean our children lose touch with their own culture, as usual the school is already making plans for a colorful celebration of Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary.
Admission is ongoing for the new session, and we look forward to you joining our NHIS Family, it is the best place to be!
Please note that admission forms can be downloaded online, or obtained at our during working hours on weekdays.
