The theme for Nigeria’s 59th Independence Anniversary at New Hall International School was patriotism, unlike celebrations of previous years, pupils were asked to wear a traditional attire from a Nigeria culture different from their place of origin. This was to foster national unity and promote patriotism. This also gave the children an opportunity to explore various cultures from across Nigeria.
