School opens at 7.00am and students are to be in school by 7.30am as assembly starts at 7.45am.
Supervision will be provided for children from 7.00am.
Members of staff will be at strategic positions in the compound to receive the children.
Parents are to park outside the school gate in the spaces provided for parking. Members of staff will be ready to hand over your child/children to you.
If a person other than those indicated in the form is to pick-up your child/children, he/she should produce the underlisted:
– An authorizing letter i.e. letter from parents
– The school’s pick-up card
– The person’s identity card
In addition, recognized phone call from the parents before the child/children can be released.
The school has an effective programme of liaison with parents. There are meetings and written information to guide parents before their children start attending school; appropriate settling-in procedures are operated and monthly newsletters are provided for parents to inform them about the programmes available.
Various courses are offered through the nursery to help the parents understand how to help their children with learning. In addition to the informal meeting which occurs at the beginning and end of the day, parents are invited into the school formally thrice yearly to discuss their child’s progress with teachers. Parents are also welcomed in to the school to help with school trips and other activities.
New Hall International School is open daily, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays announced by the government of Nigeria and Lagos State government.
Our operational hours are as follows :
– School gates open at 7.00am
– Assembly is at 7:45am
– School closes at 12.30pm for Infants and 3.00pm for Primary school and also for Junior and Senior Secondary School.
Both closing hours enjoy only 30minutes of grace after which extra charges will apply.
The reception and administrative offices are opened daily from 7am – 4pm during term times. Please note that offices are usually opened from 9am – 2pm for one week after the school vacates and one week before resumption. During this time, members of staff including teachers are available for enquiries and queries.
